The Fish Inn
The Fish Inn is a functional, convenient and cost-effective means of
encouraging sport fish propagation. Made of rugged, corrugated plastic that
offers strength with minimal weight, it creates permanent habitat for fish
in saltwater or inland waters, especially deep lakes that lack protective
vegetation. On-site inspections and underwater photos show that Fish Inns attract abundant varieties and sizes of game fish.
They measure approximately 48" wide x 60" long x 48" high and are made up
of six panels with various-sized openings at different heights to attract
small and large fish. Once filled with brush and weighted with a concrete
block, Fish Inns are then sunk in depths of 12 to 20 feet. A hinged top panel
allows replacement of brush, keeping them functional indefinitely. While
sturdy and durable, they are also lightweight (only 30 lbs.) which makes
them easily transportable. In addition, their modular design allows for quick,
simple assembly and they can be easily installed by just one person.
